24/02/23.

This week I received the news that 2 important people in my life will be ‘leaving’; they’re moving on to new adventures that will get them closer to their goals, dreams & aspirations.

I’m happy for them… I truly am but I’m also sad that this chapter of friendship, honest conversations, laughter and support will be ending.

They’re both moving pretty far which means the part they played in my ‘journey’ will cease soon.

I spoke to someone about how I was feeling and I was reminded that for new people and experiences to come into our lives it means that others will need to leave.

One door opens when another closes 🤔.

I sat with that, I pondered , I released and then I accepted it.

I’m grateful for the short time spent together and I definitely rather this short time over no time at all because these two people have helped me learn and grow just by being themselves and allowing me to be my true self.

For all that we shared and learnt I can definitely say that I’d rather this short time over never having met them at all.

I am looking forward to the next ‘promotion’ and seeing who will fill these 2 vacancies.

I’m also looking forward to meeting new people and seeing what they have to offer and how our relationships develop – it will also be interesting to see how each new relationship will help me grow.

Change is good, right?
