I have finally been feeling better, and it’s been exactly eight days of feeling this way.

I hadn’t realised how unwell I was until I started feeling this good.

My bowels impacted my physical and mental health to the point that I was not able to sit long or sleep well, and the pain I was feeling had me in tears just about every second day.

I didn’t go to the gym for twelve days, and my muscles now feel the impact of that; I went from six days a week to zero for almost two weeks. There was no way I could sit at a machine or do much of anything else, so I gave in.

This last week, since feeling so well, I have come home to nap after work, and then I’ve gone to the gym late at night.

I feel like I lost some momentum, and I’m okay with that; my body needs to rest and recuperate.

Tomorrow, we fly out to Bali, and we will take it easy for six days, and then we get back. I’m getting back into the diet and exercise to reach my April goals.
