20/01/2020 -Reversal

Went in for a 9:30am appointment – sat in waiting room til 10:30 then sat waiting in a hospital’s gown til 11:30 before the doctor walked in and we had a chat. Today’s procedure was to check if my ‘insides’ have healed well since the surgery and to make sure there’s no leaks or obstructions.…

Went in for a 9:30am appointment – sat in waiting room til 10:30 then sat waiting in a hospital’s gown til 11:30 before the doctor walked in and we had a chat. Today’s procedure was to check if my ‘insides’ have healed well since the surgery and to make sure there’s no leaks or obstructions. The procedure was quite intrusive and uncomfortable but to move forward it needed to be done. Thankfully the healing has occurred, there’s no leaks or obstructions and on Thursday I meet with my surgeon to discuss the reversal surgery.
Quite honestly as grateful and glad as I am I can’t wait to not have any more of these procedures or spend any more time in hospital waiting rooms etc.
Here’s to 1 more surgeons appointment and I more operation and hospital stay.
